I cannot delete a candidate profile because its tied to historical data

Problem: I'm trying to delete a candidate's profile but I get a message saying that it is tied to historical data. What does this mean and how do I delete this candidate's profile?

Resolution: When you try to delete a candidate's profile and receive a message that their profile is tied to historical data, it means that this candidate is still tied to signups and applications for different types of events (Workshops, Events, Interviews, Jobs, …). The primary recommendation is to mark the candidate profile with a Resume Book Status of Archived or Marked for Deletion or promote them into a Deleted/ Archived Student PID.
