Using test candidate accounts

Test Candidate Accounts

We often receive inquiries from different schools regarding candidates having access to resources they shouldn't have access to OR candidates being able to see things they shouldn't be able to see. A percentage of these tickets turn out to be admins logging into a test candidate and the test candidate had special permissions enabled.

With that said, if you need to login as a candidate to verify that they have access to the appropriate resources, login as an actual candidate. The primary purpose of a test candidate is to test a configuration or investigate a problem you've reported and in order to do this we might need to modify the test candidates access which makes test candidates an improper way to confirm whether the candidates in the pid have access to the appropriate resources.
